The Croatian region of Istria is one of the most popular destinations for foreign visitors to Croatia. With a strong Italian influence (the region in fact used to be part of Italy during the early part of the 20th century), this certainly is a beautiful region of Croatia both along the coast and inland, with its pretty hilltop towns, coastal towns and vineyards.
Istria is most famous for its delicious wine, award-winning olive oil, the largest amphitheatre in Europe situated in Pula, the shiny, marble cobblestone streets and pastel-coloured houses of Rovinj, the hilltop villages, it’s the perfect place to indulge in gourmet food and muscat wine and enjoy the ancient history.
Nutritionally balanced meals
Expect delicious and nutritious 5* quality meals throughout the week so that you can focus on relaxing and improving your Yoga.
The Meneghetti will put on a beautiful breakfast buffet every morning and the friendly staff are on hand to prepare your eggs, choice of tea or your favourite style of coffee on request.
Our retreat dinners will be a set menu and will be designed to compliment the retreat activities.
There is also ala carte options in the restaurant throughout the day or whenever you fancy indulging as well as an extensive Croatian wine list for the 'foodies' amongst the group.
In-between the two daily Yoga classes, the sunny mid-day and afternoon/evening will be a time of relaxation by the pool with a book, or a walk to the beach, swimming, cycling, sunbathing or exploring the surrounding towns. We will also have two guided trips in the schedule so that you can experience Istria and head to Rovinj for a shopping trip.
There will be plenty of time to indulge in your two pampering and therapeutic FREE treatments in the award winning ENERGY CLINIC SPA and sit in the sauna for some sweet relaxation.
What to expect:
Ultimately, the purpose of this week is to retreat from your hectic schedule, take some time out, make new friends, switch off and explore new territory in the peaceful wine region of Croatia.
With the intensive Yoga training on the schedule, your body can return to health and heal imbalances. The week will include sessions that not only tone, strengthen, increase stamina and challenge the body in news ways but also deeply relax the mind and cultivate change in the nervous system.
Practicing Yoga every day allows you to form a great connection between your mind and body.
Natasha will encourage you to listen to your body and only do as much as you can. Resting is always an option. You have a sauna and spa on hand to soothe your aching muscles and a gym onsite incase you would like to workout more!!
The complimentary massages, the brand new sauna and the beautiful indoor pool at The Meneghetti are an exciting addition to this retreat and will support your body's healing after the Yoga sessions. The outdoor pools and the grounds to this property provide ample space for me-time.

Daily Yoga with London's Natasha Kerry
There will be full length Yoga classes everyday that will include Yoga postures for all levels, a chance to improve your back-bending, twists, forward folding, arm balancing and inversions. Yoga cultivates strength and flexibility in the physical body whilst enhancing mental peace and balance.
Classes will include Yoga Philosophy, Vinyasa (Flow) Yoga, Yin Yoga (relaxing), Yoga Nidra (Yoga Sleep), Meditation, Pranayama (Breathing exercises) and guided relaxations.
All levels welcome
The classes will be tailored to the group and each persons needs, and Natasha will speak to all levels and abilities.
Yang and Yin Yoga Sessions
The morning sessions will provide an opportunity to develop and hone your Yoga practice and throughout the week we will explore active and dynamic sequencing in Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga.
The afternoon sessions will be passively-held Yin Yoga postures, Meditation and Yoga Nidra to prepare you for relaxation.
Natasha teaches intuitively to each group she works with and a unique experience is created within each class. The Yoga will be a mixture of Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra (Yoga Sleep).
Over the course of the week, you will be introduced to a variety of Yoga techniques and practices, so this is especially suited to those who have not have much contact with Yoga yet.
Each class will centre on a different Yogic theme and so will provide insight into the philosophy and methodology behind the amazing practice of Yoga.
Suitable for all levels and for those who wish to retreat and relax with a group of like-minded and fun-loving beings and deepen your Yoga practice.
You will return to your daily life with many new memories and ready to do it all over again!
We have pre-booked only a few rooms in this stately and unique five-star hotel venue and so first-come first-served. The week will be a chance to be on a healthy spa holiday and a Yoga retreat with Natasha Kerry in a Relais and Chateaux property.
